Originally from London Pat started his career in recruitment and quickly rose to the top of his field. Realising his potential Pats entrepreneurial ambition emerged and in 1997 The Synergy group was formed with Pat as CEO and majority shareholder.
The Synergy Group provides both international and nationwide recruitment solutions to specialist sectors across the UK. Synergy Medical has successfully grown by delivering its services with integrity and professionalism and is now firmly established as one of the leading providers of staffing solutions in the country.
With the success of Synergy Pat invested into property on the South East coast and Hastings where his family now call home. At the time Hastings was a seaside town without much investment in the area. Pat saw an opportunity not only to aid in the regeneration of Hastings but to offer tenants a higher standard of accommodation with professional management.
As Synergy grew so did Pats portfolio of property and the refurbishment programme, bringing new life to Hastings seafront. Forming partnerships with local businessmen and with the opening of the university of Brighton campus in Hastings The Roost people was formed offering quality, safe and secure student accommodation in the form of halls of residence for first year students along with many specifically refurbished apartments with communal spaces, internet and utilities provided. Roost People are the largest supplier of student accommodation in Hastings and without their investment the University would have struggled to house their students.
With a greater influx of foreign students to the area, especially language schools over the summer months. It was a natural progression for Roost to supply these students with a safe environment during their visits, starting inter-continental partnerships with companies such as EFL and boosting tourism in Hastings.
As more and more investment came to Hastings the town thrived and has now become a seaside destination for visitors from all over the UK and Europe. Pat has now formed Coast Holiday Lets to meet the demand for quality, stylish and affordable short stay accommodation and has formed relationships with many local restaurants and businesses working together in what is now a thriving tourism industry.
