After careful consideration and a few months of work I am pleased to announce that Patrick Hanlon director of Roost People LTD and Charterhouse has taken over as managing director of Maltbys Estate agency.
"There will be no change in the operation of the business for existing clients but we want to grow the business with the partnership of a new chartered surveyor. This is a great opportunity to grow Maltbys residential sales and lettings portfolio. After successfully managing a large proportion of the commercial market in Hastings and Bexhill over the last few years it is time to grow the residential arm of the business."
As many estate agents are putting there fees up due to the referencing fee ban choosing the right agent for you has never been more important. I have used several different agents over time to let my personal portfolio of property in Hastings and the most important thing for me is finding a good tenant. Sounds easy right??? there are plenty of good people out there who want to pay rent and will look after your property. The simple answer is yes there are, you don't need to accept the first person that comes along. It is the agents job to asses each applicant, they are the ones who meet them. It should almost be like an interview to try and gauge what the prospective tenants are like as people.
